Classes
- Sorcerer, Fire Wall: bonus damage now applies when you and the target stand at different heights. Your Embers is no longer replaced by another player's stronger Embers.
- Sorcerer, Cold Storm: the same elevation fix for bonus damage. Your Frostbite is no longer replaced by another player's stronger Frostbite.
- Sorcerer, Bittercold Wind: the Frost cooldown reduction now works across height differences.
- Spiritmaster, Summon: Ancient Spirit: at level 15 or below, the summon now activates its skills properly.
Abyss
- The most Abyss entry time you can store is now 7 hours. NC does not say what unit the cap applies to, so we cannot say if it is per day or per week.
- Two weekly Season Missions now pay Abyss Entry Stones: Spend 1 Hour in the Abyss, and Defeat the Boss Guardian Lord Nahma Once.
- Battlefield standard stats are adjusted to bring fights to a better length, and stutter in large Abyss battles is reduced.
Shop and economy
- During the transfer period, Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) and Soul Crystal (Bound) move from the Wind Breeze Merchants Special tab to Substance Morph.
- Odyle Energy (Bound) loses its 16 per server weekly limit. The per-character weekly limit rises from 4 to 20.
- Lower Abyss Rift Stone (7-day) is sold in Wind Breeze Merchants Special for two weeks.
- Market listing of gathering materials will be restricted based on your play history.
Events
- Conquerors of the Abyss (until the Oct 27/28 maintenance): Abyss Rift Stone (Event) costs 50,000 Kina, limit 7 per character per week, level 45 and up.
- Trick or Treat (until the Nov 3 PST / Nov 4 CET maintenance): a 14-day attendance event paying Halloween Pumpkin Coins, plus event missions and a coin shop with Odyle Energy, Lower Abyss Rift Stones, Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets and Instant Clear Tickets.
- The coin shop caps what you can buy each week, so spend coins on the items you value most.
Settings and fixes
- New options: invert the Y axis, and show or hide HP bars under the nameplate settings.
- Fixes for graphics settings on two-GPU PCs, 4K refresh-rate crashes, slow loading with FSR, and player positions resetting after a reconnect in Shugo Festival.
- Graphics settings are no longer saved to Steam Cloud.
Cosmetic shop
- New armor skin sets, Halloween weapon skins, pets and wing skins went on sale Oct 14. They are cosmetic and change no stats. The sale runs until the Nov 24 (PST) / Nov 25 (CET) maintenance.

FAQ
Did any class get nerfed or buffed in the Oct 14 patch?
No. The official notes list only bug fixes for Sorcerer and Spiritmaster. No damage or cooldown numbers changed for any class.
What changed for Sorcerer?
Fire Wall and Cold Storm bonus damage now applies across height differences. Embers and Frostbite are not overwritten by another player's stronger version. Bittercold Wind's Frost cooldown reduction also works across elevation.
What is the new Abyss entry time cap?
The most stored Abyss entry time is now 7 hours. NC does not say if that is per day or per week, so check the in-game tooltip.
When do the Halloween events end?
