What those dates actually say
LST is open to everyone on Steam and PURPLE. Pre-download starts 16 September, 6AM PDT. Day 1 is 17 September 6AM–12PM PDT / 15:00–21:00 CEST. Day 2 is 18 September 12PM–6PM PDT / 21:00 CEST to 19 September 03:00 CEST. Six hours a day. Progression carries Day 1 to Day 2, then wipes. Nothing transfers to Advanced Access or launch. Shops, trading, and Founder's Pack items are off. Closet is default outfits only. Level cap for the test is 37.
The LST notice tells Steam players to uninstall the Playtest App and download AION 2 separately for Advanced Access on 30 September. PURPLE players have no further steps named there.
The global teaser prints “Official Launch on October 5, 2026.” The English FAQ, marked updated the same week as Gamescom, still says the exact date will be shared closer to launch. Both stay on this page until NC reconciles them.

When does Aion 2 launch globally?
The official global teaser states October 5, 2026. The English Pre-release FAQ, marked updated 25 August 2026, still says the exact date will be shared closer to launch. This page keeps both sentences.
Is there early access?
Founder's Packs include 5-day Early Access. The LST notice names Advanced Access on September 30, 2026 for that audience.
What platforms?
PC via Steam and PURPLE. The FAQ says global is currently PC-only. Controller is playable; full launch support is still being evaluated.
