Other Chanter variants
Each Chanter variant page follows one stigma that splits the class. The groups overlap, because a player runs four stigmas at once.
| Variant | Players | Median CP | In class top 50 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power of the Storm | 112 | 64,829 | 31 |
| Obliterate (this page) | 61 | 61,314 | 12 |
| Healing Touch | 42 | 61,563 | 7 |
Other Chanter stigmas with at least 20 players on each side of the split, without their own page: Sprint Mantra (174), Marchutan's Wrath (85), Focused Defense (24), Impeding Authority (20).

What other sources say
MetaBot's 3 Oct reading labels Obliterate a PvP swap rather than giving a usage share. The two Neonsect readings put it at 27% / 30% of their top 30. None of the build guides we read names it as a pick. These are outside readings with their own samples, shown so you can compare.
Because of that label, Obliterate is also listed on the Chanter PvP build with the other PvP swaps.
Not confirmed yet
- The armory does not record whether a player mostly runs PvE or PvP, so this page cannot say which mode Obliterate is for.
- Why players pick Obliterate. The data shows who equips it, not their reasons.
- Whether Obliterate changes your combat power. Any gap above may come from gear, levels or the kind of player who picks it.
- The last stigma slot: Obliterate and Fracturing Blow are named by a few sources and nobody is settled.
Chanter Obliterate FAQ
How many top Chanters use Obliterate in Aion 2?
61 of 200 sampled level 45 Chanters (30.5%) had Obliterate equipped on 2026-10-19. The sample is the top 200 per class by combat power across the five Global regions.
What does Obliterate replace in a Chanter build?
Mostly Power of the Storm: 32.8% of Obliterate players run it, against 66.2% of other Chanters.

Their median is 4.8% lower. Combat power follows gear and levels, so this describes who runs Obliterate, not what Obliterate does to your power.
Is Obliterate a PvP or PvE pick for Chanter?
MetaBot labels it a PvP swap. 27 to 30% of top Chanters in the Neonsect reading wear it. The armory data itself does not record which mode a player plays.
How often is this Chanter data updated?
The armory sample refreshes daily. The date at the top of the page is the sample date of the numbers you see.
