Aion 2 wings and Flight Power after 8 October

In the 8 October temporary maintenance (1.5 hours), NC raised the Flight Power of the 4 wings you get through quests by 500 each, 2,000 in total. Official 2026-10-14 Source

Flight drains Flight Power. Passing through Flight Circles restores it, and Wind Brew restores 2,000 for 500 Abyss Points. The in-game tooltip says to collect a variety of wings to increase Flight Power. Client-data 2026-10-14 Source

Our reading: the notice does not say whether the number is the owned or equipped effect. Earlier client values identify them as the owned effect, so owning all four quest wings at +0 should now add 2,500, 1,000, 1,000 and 1,000. This is our own arithmetic and needs an in-game check. How to get wings

Your first wings are the Lesser Daeva Wings, from the Episode quest The Power in the Lake (Elyos) or The Being Beneath the Lake (Asmodian), recommended level 5. They give HP +200 when equipped. The Global client lists 28 wings, each with an Elyos and an Asmodian version.

Best wings by role

Wings give one effect when you equip them and another when you only own them. Pick the equipped wing by role. These are the equipped stats from client data.

Owned effects stack for free. Owning Brawler Wings adds PvP Damage Boost +1% and PvP Defense +100. Warrior Wings add PvP Damage Tolerance +1%. Nightmare Wings add PvE Damage Boost +1%. Owning 25 wings earns the title Dominator of Dimensions (PvE Damage Tolerance +4.5% and HP +1,000 equipped). See the gear guide for the rest of your setup.

Founder, shop and event wings

Blazing Sun Wings (Bound) came only in the Ultimate Founder's Pack ($99.99, sold 22 July to 5 October). NC lists it as appearance-only: no additional stats are granted. Founder cosmetics, including these wings, work on every character of the account on any server. Official 2026-10-14 Source

Official 2026-10-14 Source Once per character, level 5+, 2,900 Mileage earned. Bought wings go to Shop Storage, are used from the Cube, and are changed in the Wings menu.

• Shop wings are bound to the buying character. Other characters cannot use them. Shop pets are once per server instead.
• Trade, Delete, Storage and Customize are all not allowed on these wings.
• Collected wings carry over on a server transfer.
• Since the 6 October patch, Substance Morph limits the Sealed Wings to Enhance Stones conversion to 20 Morphs per server each week.

Is enhancing wings worth it?

Rare, Epic and Unique wings enhance from +0 to +10. Each attempt uses Kina, a Sync Stone (Unique) (Bound) and Enhance Stones. Rare and Epic wings always succeed. Failure never lowers the level.

On Unique wings only Flight Power grows, +10 per level, so +10 gives +100 for about 16.7 million Kina. Six Epic and three Rare wings also unlock one extra owned stat that grows each level, for example Spirit Wings PvE Defense +30 to +300 and Intermediate Daeva Wings HP +50 to +500. Epic wings with a useful stat are the better value. See enchanting for gear upgrades.

These points have no reliable Global source yet. Do not plan around them.

• Whether the 8 October Flight Power numbers are the owned or equipped effect. We only have our own arithmetic.
• Current owned Flight Power of each wing after 8 October.
• Flight Power of Spider Wings, Punk Bunny Bag Wings, Void Rending Wings and Blazing Sun Wings. NC says Blazing Sun adds no stats, but a client list shows an owned effect for it. Whether Founder wings give zero Flight Power is unknown.
• The real wing count. Spider Wings and possibly more are newer than the 28 in the client lists.
• Drop rates of the sealed wings from party and sealed dungeons.
• Wing names such as Dawn Mist, Eroded and Krometa do not appear in the Global client lists. They may be Korea or Taiwan names or typos, so we do not treat them as Global wings.
• A third-party armory sample of 3,016 level 45 characters says 71% wear Ultimate Daeva Wings and 11.5% Forest Spirit Wings, with wings at +0. This is not independently reproduced.
