The Aion 2 Halloween event on Global is called Trick or Treat. It pays Halloween Pumpkin Coins for daily attendance and a set of weekly missions, and a Coin Merchant in each starting region trades them for Odyle Energy, Abyss Rift Stones, dungeon tickets, a skeleton armor skin and more. Every number below comes from NC's event notice. The coin budget and the buying order are our own math and judgment, and they are labelled Editorial.
When the Halloween event starts and ends
The event opened after the Oct 13 (PDT) / Oct 14 (CEST) maintenance and closes before the Nov 3 (PST) / Nov 4 (CET) maintenance. Official 2026-10-20 Source

The same patch started a second, shorter event, Conquerors of the Abyss, which sells an Abyss Rift Stone (Event) for 50,000 Kinah, up to 7 per character per week from level 45, until the Oct 27 / Oct 28 maintenance. The full list of what that patch changed is on the Oct 14 patch notes page.
How to get Halloween Pumpkin Coins
Trick or Treat attendance
Open the in-game menu and pick Attendance. The Trick or Treat track has 14 days. Days 7 and 14 pay 100 coins and the other 12 days pay 35, so the full track is worth 620 coins. It can be claimed once per server.
Weekly event missions
The missions sit under Season Mission, on the Event tab. NC lists the reset for all ten as once per week per server.

Coin Merchant: what Pumpkin Coins buy
A Coin Merchant NPC stands in each faction's starting region. Elyos find one at Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village in Verteron. Asmodians find one at Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly in Altgard.

Candy Keys and the town candies
Event candies are placed around the towns, and each one needs a Candy Key to open. Candy Key Fragments drop as rewards for clearing Expedition and Transcendence dungeons. Turn them into keys through Substance Morph, where the event recipes always succeed.

Coin budget and what to buy first

Our math, using only the numbers in NC's notice. Buying every weekly-capped item once a week costs 258 coins: 60 for two Rift Stones, 75 for five Skin Chests, 40 for four Odyle Energy, 21 each for the Nightmare tickets, the Shugo keys and the Daily Dungeon tickets, and 20 for ten Resurrection Spiritstones. The missions pay 235 a week, so they fall 23 coins short of a full week's shopping. The one-time items (the chest plus the per-character Life Crystals, Candy and Cookies) cost 330 more.
The 620 attendance coins fill that gap. A player who logs in for all 14 attendance days and clears every mission each week can buy out the shop and still have coins left for Power Shards. If you will miss days or skip missions, buy in this order:
- Weekly items for your main goal, every week. A weekly limit you leave unused does not carry into the next week. At level 45 and up that means the 2 Lower Abyss Rift Stones and 4 Odyle Energy first.
- Dungeon tickets you will actually use. Nightmare tickets and Shugo keys are worth 7 coins only if you run that content. The Daily Dungeon clear tickets save time on alts.
- The Special Halloween Chest once you can spare 250 coins. It is a cosmetic plus pet growth, so it can wait until the last week.
- Everything else, then Power Shards with whatever is left before the event closes.
Use the reset timer to see when the next weekly reset lands, so you spend each week's allowance before it rolls over.
When event items disappear
Some rewards outlive the event and some do not. Use the short-lived ones first.

These points have no reliable Global source yet. Do not plan around them.
- How many weekly mission resets fall inside the event window. NC lists the missions as weekly but does not say how many cycles you get.
- Whether "per server" limits are shared by all your characters on one server. The notice says per server and per character for different items but does not define the first.
- What a Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) from the Red candy does.
- What the Oct 21 maintenance changes for this event. NC had not posted its notes when this page was written.
